Shipping, Returns, and Warranty

Shipping Policy

Our system notifies the shipping carriers of the dimensions and weight of each item during the checkout process, as well as the item's weight and dimensions. It calculates the shipping cost and applies that amount to your charge. It is noteworthy that the shipping cost may appear unusual for certain products due to their extremely light weight despite their large size. Upon receipt of your items, kindly inspect them for any signs of damage. Damaged products must be reported to us upon their arrival. Refrain from accepting delivery if the item is damaged during transport. Certain delivery services may allow you to examine the item prior to deciding whether or not to receive it. The delivery service returns to us any products that are declined. While we diligently pack our cargos with care to ensure their undamaged arrival at you, a flawless system is not achievable and unforeseen circumstances may occur during transit. The duration of time required to receive your order is contingent upon the shipping method selected and the shipping zip code. The days considered are weekdays, excluding weekends and holidays.

Return Procedure

“Canadian General Filters (CGF) will make every effort to guarantee your complete satisfaction with our service and any product we deliver”. To further assist you with our Returns criteria, please see the following guidelines.

  1. For a non-received item by a customer. The customer must confirm with the courier that item was not in fact delivered. Upon providing proof of non-delivery from the courier, the customer will be credited for the product.  
  2. For an item that has been delivered damaged, customer will need to provide images of damages within 24 - 48 hours of receipt. Once we have received the images and reviewed, CGF will arrange for a credit to be issued. Product does not need to be returned to Canadian General Filters.
  3. Should a customer order the incorrect item; The customer will need to contact CGF for an RGA #, once received this number must be written on the outside of the packaging, failure to provide this information could delay the credit being processed in a timely manner. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to CGF. Upon receipt CGF will inspect the product to ensure its saleable, if deemed acceptable CGF will arrange for credit to be issued less any shipping costs incurred by the customer.
  4. In the case where CGF ships an item not ordered by the customer, we will issue an RGA # for the item the customer received; the RGA # must be written on the packaging, failure to provide this information could delay the credit being processed in a timely manner. CGF will provide a return shipping label which the customer will apply to packaging and arrange with courier company to deliver to CGF. Upon receipt CGF will arrange for the correct item to be shipped to customer within 24 hours.
  5. CGF strives to process returns in a timely manner, however due to shipping volumes, this could take between 2-5 days. Credits are issued exclusively to the initial payment method or credit card. Due to banking delays, credit card adjustments through our E-Commerce site may take up to seven days to reflect on your online credit card system. For returns, please use the shipping address specified on the packaging note.

The ONLY warranty offered is on solenoid valves, which come with a 1 year warranty from purchase date.
